# Future Developments

The tradability of crypto shares will continue to evolve and gain increasing importance in the future. It is expected that:

* The EU's DLT Pilot Regulation will create the foundation for regulated trading in crypto shares and promote interoperability between different DLT systems.

* The development of new trading infrastructures based on DLT will facilitate crypto share trading, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.

* Acceptance of crypto shares among institutional investors, professional investors, and issuers will continue to grow as they recognize the advantages of digitalization and blockchain technology.

* Regulation of crypto shares, particularly through the MiCAR regulation, will continue to develop and adapt to strengthen investor protection, ensure market integrity, and promote innovation.

These developments will have a significant impact on capital markets and open new possibilities for financing companies and projects.
